1. Privacy First Architecture

Our automated finance tracker is designed to process as much of your financial data locally on your device as possible. We prioritize local-first data processing to minimize the footprint of your sensitive information in the cloud.

2. Information We Process & Collect

To provide the MyVista app, landing page, and waitlist services, we process:

Account Details: Your email address when you join the waitlist, subscribe, or create an account. This is securely managed via Firebase Authentication.
Transaction Logs: Transaction descriptions, dates, categories, and amounts that you enter, import, or auto-detect to display your personalized dashboard.
Speech & Media: Optional voice recordings and audio notes captured within the app when you use speech-to-text input to record transactions. These audio snippets are processed statelessly and are never persisted in our clouds.
Statement Uploads: Local bank statements (PDF, CSV, image receipts) selected via the import wizard. These documents are parsed locally on your device; we do not upload raw statements or receipts to our cloud storage.
Usage Metrics: Anonymous behavioral data and basic device configurations to diagnose bugs and polish responsiveness.

3. Artificial Intelligence & Processing Safeguards

MyVista uses secure, enterprise-grade AI integrations (specifically Google Gemini APIs) to power premium automation flows, including receipt OCR extraction, voice-to-transaction logs, and personalized financial strategies.

Our integration is governed by strict developer terms that protect your financial privacy:

Zero Training Guarantee: None of your transaction details, descriptions, financial summaries, audio notes, or statement metadata are ever used to train, refine, or optimize Google's public AI models or MyVista's underlying models.
Stateless Operations: Data sent to Gemini APIs is processed in a completely stateless manner, meaning your data is parsed on-the-fly and immediately discarded after the transaction or strategy is generated.
Local-First Statement Extraction: Raw files (like PDF or CSV bank statements) are parsed locally on your device's processors to extract plain text tables. Only standard transaction strings are sent to secure endpoints to categorize entries, preventing raw document exposures.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, understand site traffic, and protect against fraud. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though some features may be limited.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal or financial data. We share information only with trusted service providers necessary for our operations (e.g., Google APIs for AI services, Firebase for authentication), all of whom are contractually committed to protecting your data privacy under strict confidentiality agreements.

6. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal and financial information at any time. If you wish to be removed from our waitlist, have your account deleted, or permanently erase your synced transaction logs, contact us at support@myvista.app.

7. Security Protocols

We implement industry-standard security measures, including AES-256 encryption and native biometric guards (FaceID/TouchID), to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Updates
